The Newman-White Gallery exhibits a range of artists and craftspeople from the local area of Lithgow, Blue Mountains to the far north coast of New South Wales. These include fine artists from the studio areas of painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, calligraphy, jewellery and printmaking. The general layout of the exhibition space includes three gallery rooms and a corridor. Separate exhibitions usually operate in each gallery room which are capable of containing ten standard framed works (approximately 90cmx 120 cm), or more depending on the dimensions of works exhibited. Hanging rail and trapeze lighting furnish all exhibition areas. Additional gallery space can be negotiated for larger exhibitions if necessary.
